We do research

 

HFS believes that research is an important means to understand children’s problems and to improve projects and programmes to address such problems.

We pride ourselves in being able to implement high quality research, using both quantitative and qualitative tools, which are based on up-to-date theory, but always practice oriented.

Our research is guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and follows strict ethical guidelines.

We also have developed several research tools  and have delivered training on how to involve children and youth as researchers themselves
